Kazakh FM held some bilateral meetings within 38th session of OIC Council of Foreign Ministers

ASTANA. June 28. KAZINFORM Today within the 38th session of the OIC Council of Foreign Ministers Kazakh Minister of Foreign Affairs Yerzhan Kazykhanov has held a number of bilateral meetings; the press service of the Kazakh MFA reports.

At the meeting with Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade of Brunei Darussalam Prince Mohamed Bolkiah the issues of organization of a visit of President Nursultan Nazarbayev to Brunei Darussalam were considered.

Following the results of the meeting with Minister of Foreign Affairs of Bahrain Sheikh Khalid ibn Ahmad Al Khalifa there was signed a Memorandum of cooperation between the foreign ministries of the two countries.

At the meeting with Minister of Foreign Affairs of Afganistan Zalmai Rassoul the regional security and economic rehabilitation of Afghanistan were considered.

Interregional aspects of cooperation were considered at the meeting with Minister of Foreign Affairs of Indonesia Marty Natalegawa.

The current issues of cooperation were discussed with Minister of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan Elmar Mammadyarov.

At the meeting with Minister for Foreign Affairs of Australia Kevin Rudd the issues of interaction within regional unions and expansion of trade-economic cooperation were considered. The Australian Minister informed of an intension to open a trade representation office of his country in the city of Almaty.
