Kazakh Finance Ministry, ADB entered into USD 173 mln loan agreement

ASTANA. December 28. KAZINFORM The Ministry of Finance of Kazakhstan and the Asian Development Bank have entered into a Loan Agreement to the amount of USD 173 mln within the third tranche of funds allocated by the Bank under the framework agreement on financing the project of reconstruction of Western Europe-Western China international transit corridor.
The allocated funds will be spent for reconstruction of Otar-Blagoveshenka (162 km-206 km) and Korday-Karasu (near the border with Kyrgyzstan) sections of Taraz-Korday highway in Zhambyl oblast with the total length of 98 km, Kazinform has learnt from the press service of the Ministry of Transport and Communications.
