Kazakh Embassy in Hungary presented results of first 100 days of Kazakhstan's OSCE chairmanship
ASTANA. Aril 30. KAZINFORM The Kazakh Embassy to Hungary presented the priorities of the Kazakhstan's OSCE chairmanship at the meeting with Mayor of Kunszentmiklos Bodi Szabolcs, Kazinform refers to the Kazakh Embassy.
The results of the first 100 days of the Kazakhstan's OSCE chairmanship were summed up at the meeting with participation of the deputy corps, representatives of the regional self-administration, non-governmental organizations and expert community of Hungary.
Special attention was paid to the contribution of Kazakhstan to the processes of strengthening security and confidence building measures in Central Asia and in the world, outlined in the report of the Head of the State at the Global Nuclear Summit in Washington.
Due to the experience of our multinational and multiconfessional country on provision of peace and accord the Hungarian side was also interested in the initiatives of Kazakhstan on holding the OSCE Top-Level Conference on tolerance and non-discrimination and the Summit of the Organization in Astana.
S.Bodi in his speech stressed that the example of Kazakhstan was exponential as long as it demonstrated balanced and unbiased approach to search of solutions of existing challenges and threats. In particular, the European and world community highly appraised the efficiency and determination of the current OSCE chairmanship in settlement of the conflict in Kyrgyzstan.
The book of the Kazakh President "Kazakhstan's Way" translated in the Hungarian language and a book about Kazakhstan specially prepared by the Kazakh Embassy were presented at the meeting. Press-releases outlining the key provisions of the Kazakhstan's OSCE chairmanship and President's Address to the Nation were distributed as well.
