Kazakh Education Ministry designs 2012-2017 extended education development system
ASTANA. February 29. KAZINFORM Kazakhstan Ministry of Education and Science works out a branch program on development of extended education system for the coming six years, director of the Ministry's department of pre-school and secondary education Zhanyl Zhontayeva told at the thematic meeting in Astana.
"We have the task to develop a big program on development of extended education system for 2012-2017. Thus, we reconsider statutory conditions in regard to extra pay for qualified categories to extended education teachers. The process of opening republican regional organizations of extended education is underway," Z. Zhontayeva noted.
According to her, since 1991 the number of clubs, classes, and schoolchildren palaces in Kazakhstan has decreased from 1727 to 621.
