Kazakh Education Minister surveys construction of schools in Akmola region

KOKSHETAU. June 19. KAZINFORM. /Zhanmurat Zhanaidarov/ Kazakh Minister of Education and Science Zhanseit Tuimebayev who pays a visit to Akmola region has surveyed the progress of construction of schools in the towns of Kokshetau and Shortandy.
The Minister was satisfied with the progress of construction of a 1200-seat intellectual physical-mathematic school of the First President of Kazakhstan in Kokshetau. KZT 1.113 million was allocated for this purpose. The school is planned to be commissioned in the beginning of a new academic year.
A 750-seat school in Shortandy is built within the framework of ?100 schools, 100 hospitals? state program. KZT 1.15 million was budgeted into the construction.
This year there were opened four kindergartens in the region. Three more infant schools will start work soon.
