Kazakh ecological initiatives to influence CA development positively
ASTANA. May 18. KAZINFORM "Kazakhstan's ecological initiatives will positively influence the Central Asia Countries' development," Official Secretary of the State Agency for Environmental Protection and Forestry under the Kyrgyz Government Abdymital Chyngyzhoyev said in the interview to Kazinform correspondent within the 5th Islamic Conference of Environment Ministers.
He stressed that at the conference he intended to discuss the condition of mountain ecological systems, because the Central Asia Mountains were of great importance not only for Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan, but also for all countries in the region. According to him, Kyrgyzstan is greatly concerned with the state of glaciers.
In addition, A.Chungyzhoyev expressed confidence that such Kazakhstan's initiatives as "Global energy ecological strategy" and "Green Bridge" Partnership Program would be supported by the conference participants.
