Kazakh director to unveil The Hosts at Küstendorf Film Festival

BRUSSELS. KAZINFORM - A well-known Kazakhstani screenwriter and director Adilkhan Yerzhanov will present his film The Hosts at the Küstendorf Film Festival in Drvengrad village today.

Yerzhanov was spotted at the opening ceremony of the festival which is known for not having a red carpet. The festival and the village are both creations of renowned Serbian film director Emir Kusturica. The village was built for Kusturica's film Life Is a Miracle not far from the place where Serbia borders on Bosnia and Herzegovina. Films directed by Emir Kusturica, Andrei Konchalovsky, Andrey Tarkovsky, Alfonso Cuaron and other internationally-acclaimed directors will be screened during the festival as well.
