Kazakh delegation arrives in Uzbekistan to monitor elections

TASHKENT. KAZINFORM An observer mission of Kazakhstan led by head of the Central Elections Commission Kuandyk Turgankulov is to arrive in Tashkent to monitor the elections to the Oliy Majlis of Uzbekistan. The elections to the country's parliament will be held on December 21, 2014.
There are 135 electoral precincts, and 9,035 voting stations the countrywide. The Central Election Commission registered above 300 observers from 40 countries, also reps of OSCE BDIHR, CIS, SCO, OIC missions. About 350 local and foreign mass media will cover the election process.
