Kazakh Defense Minister, U.S. diplomat laud bilateral military cooperation

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - Today, Kazakhstan's Minister of Defense Serik Akhmetov has met with Chargé d'Affaires at the U.S. Embassy John Ordway, Kazinform has learnt from the ministry's press service.
The sides exchanged views on current and perspective issues of bilateral cooperation in the sphere of military and technical interaction. "Ensuring security, peace and stability is one of the priorities of our bilateral relations," Minister Akhmetov said. Successful cooperation within the Kazakhstan-U.S. five-year plan of military cooperation was praised at the meeting as well. J. Ordway noted great potential and prospects for development of mutually beneficial partnership between Kazakhstan and the U.S. in military sphere.
