Kazakh Defense Minister met with ambassadors of Belgium, Israel
ASTANA. February 3. KAZINFORM. Kazakh Minister of Defense Adilbek Dzhaksybekov has met with Ambassador of Belgium to Kazakhstan Daniel Bertrand and Ambassador of Israel to Kazakhstan Israel Mei-Ami today; the Ministry's press service told Kazinform.
The parties discussed the perspective directions of cooperation between their defense ministries.
The Kazakh Minister informed the guests of the main provisions of the President's Address to the Nation "New Decade - New Economic Growth - New Opportunities of Kazakhstan" devoted to realization of Kazakhstan Development Strategy till 2020. He also told about the current processes in the Kazakh Armed Forces.
"A very important element in the political life of Kazakhstan is its chairmanship in the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE). We are sure that the Republic of Kazakhstan will successfully implement this mission", the Defense Minister stressed.
He invited both diplomats to take part in KADEX-2010 first international exhibition of armament, military equipment and military-technical equipment scheduled for May in Astana.
The diplomats expressed confidence in strengthening of relations between the countries through the continuation of the dialogue.
