Kazakh Culture Ministry sets up Repertory Council

AGANDA. September 21. KAZINFORM. /Valentina Yelizarova/ A Repertory Council has been established under the Ministry of Culture and Information of Kazakhstan. Deputy Chairman of the Ministry's Culture Committee Aliya Abildinova has made it public at a press conference devoted to the XVII Republican Theater Festival in Karaganda.
The Council is an advisory body set up to select repertory for theaters.
"Any author will get an opportunity to present his creative works", Mrs. Abildinova said.
The Repertory Council will be headed by Vice Ministry of Culture and Information. Prominent culture experts, heads of theaters and playwrights will be its members.
