Kazakh Consulate opened in Munich

MUNICH. July 4. KAZINFORM The Kazakh Consulate has been opened in Munich, Germany today.

The event was attended by the representatives of the Federal Government of Bavaria, leading German public policy and business circles, Bundestag and Landtag members of parliaments, staff of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Germany, public authorities, representatives of the Kazakh Diaspora, mass media and Kazakh students.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Kazakh Ambassador to Germany Nurlan Onzhanov noted the Kazakh Consulate opening in a capital of Bavaria, Germany is considered as one of the most important events in the history of the Kazakh-German cooperation, and its activity will contribute to the development and strengthening of all-round bilateral cooperation.

Director General of the Bavarian State Minister for Food, Agriculture and Forestry Martin Neumeyer saluted the opening the Kazakh Consulate. According to him, it will contribute significantly to the development of a large-scaled cooperation of Bavaria with Kazakhstan, in particular in economic sphere.

Axel Bartelt, Chief of Protocol of the Bavarian State Chancellery stressed the Consulate will give a big impetus to the regional cooperation between Kazakhstan and Bavaria.

In addition, a great potential of the bilateral cooperation and successful projects within the trade-economic interaction between the two countries was emphasized during the event.

Currently, cooperation development with the Germany regions is a priority. The Kazakh Consulate in Munich will allow to represent interests of Kazakhstan at a higher level and to unlock scientific, innovative, industrial and economic potential for cooperation.
