Kazakh climbers conquer Mount Kilimanjaro

Kazakh climbers conquered Mount Kilimanjaro, the highest peak in Africa, rising 5,895 meters, Kazinform News Agency reports.
The Kazakh expedition was led by legendary Maxut Zhumayev, who ascended all 14 of the world’s 8,000-meter peaks without supplemental oxygen.
Last May, the Kazakh Everest Team of Anar Burasheva and Maxut Zhumayev conquered Mount Everest standing at 8,848 meters. Anar Burasheva is the first Kazakh woman to summit the world’s highest mountain.
Noteworthy, Kazakh climber Vassiliy Pivtsov conquered the Broad Peak eight-thousander, the world’s twelfth highest peak in August 2024. Its height is 8,047 meters and is located on the border of China and Pakistan.
