Kazakh Civil Aviation Committee starts comprehensive check of SCAT Airline

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - Kazakh Civil Aviation Committee has begun checking SCAT airline, the press service of the Ministry of Transport and Communications of Kazakhstan informs.

"Civil Aviation Committee of the Ministry of Transport and Communications is carrying out an investigation in connection with the incidents involving SCAT airline aircraft. The results of the investigation will determine causes of the incidents. The Committee will start comprehensive check to ensure the airline operated in line with flight safety standards", the statement reads. Recall that on April 7 "Boeing -737" operated by SCAT airline on its route from the city of Shymkent to Astana, made an emergency landing at the airport of the capital due to the malfunctioned front landing gear. None of 94 people on board (5 crew members and 89 passengers) was injured.
