Kazakh capital welcomes triplets on eve of Republic Day

Aisha Iskakova welcomed triplets, two boys and a girl at the multidisciplinary hospital No. 2 in Astana, Kazinform News Agency reports.
“We have named our newborn children Tomiris, Ibrahim and Muhammad. Previously, we had two children, and I am now a mother of five. I would like to extend my gratitude to them and wish everyone the same joy,” Aisha thanked the medical team for their excellent care.
The mother of five children gave birth at the 33rd week of gestation. The babies were born weighing 2,134, 1,965, and 1, 580 grams.
“The birth of triplets on the eve of the Republic Day is probably a harbinger of good things to come,” the hospital's deputy director of obstetrics, Dauren Musin, said.
