Kazakh-Brazilian trade turnover increases annually - business forum in Taraz
ZHAMBYL REGION. June 23. KAZINFORM /Galina Skripnik/ "The trade turnover between Kazakhstan and Brazil increases annually and this trend is to be continued", Ambassador of Brazil to Kazakhstan Federico Duque Estrada Meyer has said today at the international business forum in Taraz.
Upon the results of 2008, the trade turnover between Kazakhstan and Brazil was increased by 93.3% and made up USD 247.5 mln compared to 2007. The volume of Kazakhstani export was up to USD 26.6mln.
The sides have noted at the forum that Brazil has an advanced experience in alternative energy, engineering, agriculture, aviation and tourism. Kazakhstan recognizes Brazil as a perspective political, trade and economic partner in the Latin America. Brazil is interested in joint work in the oil and gas sector, ore mining, biofuel production, development of Kazakhstani infrastructure.
