Kazakh boxer Zhaylauov marks his Olympic debut with victory

ASTANA. July 29. KAZINFORM Kazakh boxer Gani Zhaylauov made it to the next stage of the competition at the Olympics in London on Sunday.
G.Zhaylauov, performing in the weight category up to 60 kg, in his debut match in London met with the representative of Thailand Sailom Ardi. The Kazakhstani lost the first round with a minimum score of 4:5, but then equalized the score winning 4:3. The decisive round was finished in a draw 4-4. Zhaylauov won on additional indicators.
Earlier, boxer Kanat Abutalipov of Kazakhstan reached the next round of competition, and Danabek Suzhanov was defeated at the start of the Olympic tournament.
