Kazakh boxer secures silver at U19 World Boxing Championships

Kazakh boxer Asylkhan Kosherbai won silver at the 2024 U19 World Boxing Championships at the Pueblo Convention Center in Colorado, USA, Kazinform News Agency learnt from the National Olympic Committee.
In the men’s 65 kg finals, he lost to Australia’s Cooper McConnell who won by split decision.
As earlier reported, Kazakh boxers won two silver medals at the World Championships held between October 25 and November 5.
Notably, Kazakh boxer Torekhan Sabyrkhan won a gold medal at the IBA Youth Men's and Women's World Boxing Championships Budva 2024 underway in Montenegro in November.
