Kazakh border guards seize nearly 30 kg of heroin

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - Kazakhstani border guards have seized a large batch of heroin this week, Kazinform has learnt from the Kazakh Frontier Service.
One Russian and two Kyrgyz men tried to transport 25 kg of high-quality heroin via Kazakhstan's territory in Toyota RAV-4 car. In total, the guards confiscated 48 bricks of heroin. Another citizen of Kyrgyzstan, 49, was detained on the Kazakh-Kyrgyz border with 36 bricks of heroin and hashish. He was en-route to Kazakhstan on his Mercedes-Benz car. Investigations have been launched.
