Kazakh beauty named Best Model of the Year in the U.S.
Kazakhstan’s Kristina Menissov has been named the Best Model of the Year in the U.S. at the National Social Media Awards, Kazinform News Agency correspondent reports.
The Kazakh beauty from Almaty who was running against four other models scored the award thanks to her followers.
“I appreciate every single one of you who voted for me this time and always vote for me no matter what I throw myself into. You guys are the reason I decided to go and try modeling professionally in Los Angeles in 2017 with a 1-year-old son my hands at the first place. I am so grateful for building this amazing platform and that most of you are so supportive of everything I do. I decided to model and YOU sent me a list of all the agencies in Los Angeles, I release a song and YOU listen, I ask you to vote for me and WE WON! I appreciate every single follower I have. Thank you,” Menissov wrote in a recent Instagram post.
In 2022 Kristina Menissov claimed the Miss Universe World International title in the U.S.
Throughout her modeling career the Kazakhstani did campaigns with such luxurious brands as Chopard, Cartier, Michael Costello, Balmain, and Yves Saint Laurent. She also graced the covers of Vogue Mexico, Elle, Gramour, and Harper’s Bazaar magazines.
