Kazakh, Austrian Machine Builders Union entered into memo of coop
ASTANA. May 11. KAZINFORM /Muratbek Makulbekov/ Today within the Kazakh-Austrian Business Forum held at the Radisson SAS Hotel in Astana the Unions of Machine Builders of Kazakhstan and Austria have entered into a memorandum of cooperation.
As the Investments Committee of the Ministry of Industry and New Technologies informs, in 1995-2009 Austria invested USD 2.818 bln in Kazakhstan. As of January 1, 2010 Kazakhstan has registered 135 Kazakh-Austrian joint enterprises. In September 2007 there was signed a memorandum of cooperation between Kazakhstan Stock Exchange and the Vienna Stock Exchange. Atameken Union National Economic Chamber of Kazakhstan and Federal Economic Chamber of Austria also entered into a memorandum of cooperation.
This year the Economic Chamber of Austria plans to open its office in Almaty.
