Kazakh archers to vie for top honors at Asian Games 2026
Kazakhstan’s national archery team roster for the Asian Games 2026 in Aichi and Nagoya, Japan, has been announced. A total of 12 athletes will compete in both recurve and compound bow categories, Qazinform News Agency reports referring to the National Olympic Committee.
Ilfat Abdullin, Dauletkeldy Zhanbyrbai, Dastan Karimov will defend the country’s colors in the men’s Recurve Bow, and Alexandra Zemlyanova, Medina Murat, Samira Zhumagulova in the women’s events.
Andrey Tyutyun, Akbarali Karabayev, Musa Dilmukhamet will compete in the men’s Compound Bow, and Viktoria Lyan, Adel Zheksenbinova, Roxana Yunusova in the women’s events.
The Summer Asian Games 2026 will take place from September 19 to October 4, 2026, in Japan.
Kazakhstan’s archers have shown strong results recently, twice finishing in the top 10 at the Archery World Cup stage in Turkiye.
