Kazakh and Chinese special services agreed to activate joint efforts in combating modern threats

ASTANA. May 18. KAZINFORM Chairman of the Kazakh National Security Committee (NSC) Adil Shayakhmetov is paying a working visit to the People's Republic of China on May 17-20.

As the Committee's press service informs, there were held negotiations with member of the PRC State Council, Minister of Public Security Meng Jianzhu and Minister of State Security Geng Huichang. A wide spectrum of issues of mutual cooperation was discussed.

Following the negotiations the heads of special services agreed on activation of joint efforts in struggle against modern threats. The sides spoke for further strengthening and improvement of interaction on information exchange within the framework of combating international drug trafficking, transnational crime and illegal migration.
