Kazakh Ambassador, Vice Speaker of Spanish Senate met in Madrid

The diplomat informed of the socio-economic situation in Kazakhstan, international initiatives of our country and Kazakh-Spanish relations. At the request of the Spanish Senate Deputy Chairman, Mr. Bulegenov gave a brief analysis of the opportunities of bilateral relations development in the sphere of policy, economy, trade, science and culture. J. Lucas appreciated the potential of Kazakh-Spanish interparliamentary cooperation. He expressed wish to learn more about Kazakhstan within the forthcoming visit of the Spanish parliamentary delegation to our country. The Spanish side noted high level of cooperation between the two states due to friendly relations of the heads of the states and regular top-level visits. According to Mr. Lucas, it is necessary to activate trade-economic relations, develop new markets and make investments. He expressed intention to promote business interaction between the two states, particularly between the representatives of small and medium businesses.
