Kazakh Ambassador took part in laying flowers to memorial to Red Army soldiers in Prague
ASTANA. May 11. KAZINFORM Kazakh Ambassador to the Czech Republic Anarbek Karashev together with the heads of diplomatic missions of the CIS states and representatives of the Czech state bodies laid flowers to the memorial to Red Army soldiers and Czech soldiers at the Prague cemetery of Olshany on May 9, Kazinform refers to the Kazakh Embassy.
Kazakhstani veteran who participated in the fighting for liberation of Czechoslovakia Kanatai Tokabayev took part in the event.
Relatives of Hero of the Soviet Union Mazhit Dzhunusov and common soldier Viten Abishev visited Prague and Bratislava on invitation of the Kazakh Embassy. They brought a handful of Kazakhstani earth to the graves of their fathers and grandfathers died in the fights for liberation of Czechoslovakia.
A reception with participation of the heads of diplomatic missions of Azerbaijan, Belarus, Moldova, Russia, Ukraine, veterans of war, representatives of the Defense Ministries of Kazakhstan and Czechia was held in the Kazakh Embassy after the ceremony of laying flowers.
