Kazakh Ambassador took part in conference on use of water resources in Central Asia in Madrid
ASTANA. December 16. KAZINFORM Kazakh Ambassador Ergali Bulegenov took part in the conference on use of water resources in Central Asia organized by the Spanish public fund 'House of Asia' in Madrid. Representatives and experts from other countries of the region also took part in the conference, the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan informs.
Kazakh diplomat told about the priorities of Kazakhstan's presidency in the OSCE in 2010, in particular in economic-environment dimension of the Organization paying special attention to the issues on saving the Aral Sea.
E. Bulegenov also informed about establishing two positions of personal representatives of the OSCE chairing country on economic and environmental issues.
After the reports the participants had a 'roundtable' within which they had an opportunity to share views on keys issues of the Aral Sea.
Within the framework of the event the organizers demonstrated documentary movie 'The lost sea'.
