Kazakh Ambassador to Uzbekistan, Uzbek FM discuss bilateral coop

TASHKENT. KAZINFORM - Today Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Uzbekistan Boribay Zheksembin has met with Uzbek First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Dilyor Khakimov.

During the meeting, the sides discussed issues of cooperation between the two countries including topical questions of regional policy. During his visit to Uzbekistan in 2013 President Nursultan Nazarbayev noted that the consistent development of cooperation within multilateral frameworks contributes to strengthening stability and creates conditions for generating new trends at the regional and international levels. In this regard, Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan are ready to continue to provide mutual support in multilateral bodies such as the UN, CIS, and SCO. It is worth noting that Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan are parties to the CICA, SCO, CIS Antiterrorism Center, as well as TRACECA and North-South transport corridors.
