Kazakh Ambassador to U.S. met with Ex US Secretary of State
ASTANA. June 22. KAZINFORM Ambassador of Kazakhstan to the U.S. Yerlan Idrissov met with the former U.S. Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice in San Francisco.
Last week Y.Idrissov made a business trip to the regions, and visited Houston, Texas: Tucson, Arizona and San Francisco, California.
According to the press release of the Kazakh Embassy in the U. S., Y. Idrissov handed over to C. Rice a Medal "20 Years of Kazakhstan's Independence ", which was also presented to many other prominent American figures who have contributed to the development of partnership between Kazakhstan and the U.S. during the visit of Kazakh Minister of Foreign Affairs Y.Kazyhanov to Washington in January this year.
The head of the Kazakh Embassy and Condoleezza Rice discussed the key issues of the international relations and bilateral relations between the two countries. Mrs. Rice thanked Kazakhstan's leadership for the attention and stressed that Kazakhstan is a country with glorious history and wonderful future.
