Kazakh Ambassador to Japan signed 'Kazakhstan -JICA loan agr't' in Tokyo
ASTANA. August 25. KAZINFORM Kazakhstan Ambassador to Japan Akylbek Kamaldinov signed a Loan Agreement between the Government of Kazakhstan and the Japanese Agency of International Cooperation (JICA) for implementation of the project on reconstruction of CAREC Transport Corridor.
The loan is allocated within the Official Development Aid program for reconstruction of the corridor's section running through the territory of Zhambyl oblast within Taraz-Korday highway the length of which 20 km.
The agreement was concluded during the visit of Kazakh Secretary of State-Minister of Foreign Affairs Kanat Saudabayev to Japan on March 25-27, 2010, and was confirmed by Japanese Foreign Minister Katsuya Okada during his visit to Kazakhstan on August 9-10.
