Kazakh Ambassador met with Lithuanian Parliament Speaker
ASTANA. February 3. KAZINFORM Kazakh Ambassador Galymzhan Koishybayev briefed Speaker of the Lithuanian Parliament Irena Degutene on the main provisions of the President's Address to the Nation at the meeting in Vilnius, Kazinform refers to the press service of the Kazakh Embassy.
The Kazakh Ambassador also informed the Lithuanian Speaker on the economic and political situation in Kazakhstan and its foreign initiatives. The special emphasis was laid on the activity of Kazakhstan as the OSCE chairman.
The sides discussed the Kazakh-Lithuanian dialogue, interparliamentarian and interministerial cooperation that was activated within the preparatory process and joint work in the OSCE Troika.
The Lithuanian Speaker complimented the friendly character of relations between the two countries and assured on readiness to support the Kazakh initiatives, wishing success to the Kazakh OSCE chairmanship.
