Kazakh Ambassador met with Deputy Prime Minister of Poland
ASTANA. October 22. KAZINFORM Kazakh Ambassador to Warsaw Yerik Utembayev met wit Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Economy of Poland Waldemar Pawlak, the press service of the Kazakh Ministry of Foreign Affairs reported.
Kazakh diplomat told about the results of his meetings with the specialized Polish agencies to stimulate economic growth and offered to realize a number of concrete projects on improvement of Kazakh-Polish interregional and investment cooperation.
In particular, the sides discussed the possibility to hold Kazakh-Polish forum with participation of the business communities of provinces of the two countries, a joint seminar for farmers in Kielce in the first half of 2013, training for the Kazakhstan organizations' staff in Poland to support the agricultural sector. In addition, business mission of Polish entrepreneurs to explore the possibility of investing in projects in the mining, construction and engineering will be organized in Kazakhstan in the near future.
According to W. Pawlak, in 2013 Kazakhstan will be in the limelight of Polish business community. This will be due to the decision of Warsaw on the inclusion of Kazakhstan in the group of five most promising markets for Polish companies as part of a special three-year government's program.
During the meeting, W. Pawlak handed over the list of Polish companies, whose state share is subject to privatization, inviting local companies to participate in these projects, as well as to invest in transportation and logistics terminals in Poland considering joining trade borders between the EU and the countries of the Customs Union.
