Kazakh Ambassador met with Deputy Foreign Minister of Pakistan
ASTANA. February 22. KAZINFORM Kazak Ambassador Extraordinarily and Plenipotentiary to Islamabad Bakhitbek Shabarbayev met with Deputy Foreign Minister of Pakistan Alamgir Babar, the Kazakh Embassy's press service reported.
Management of Pakistan Foreign Ministry was acquainted with key points of the President's Address to the people of Kazakhstan. The sides discussed topical issues of international and regional agenda and bilateral cooperation.
Congratulatory messages from Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev and Foreign Minister Yerzhan Kazykhanov on the occasion of 20 years of establishment of Kazakh-Pakistani diplomatic relations were handed over to President of Pakistan Asif Ali Zardari and Foreign Minister Hina Rabbani Khar.
Important topics of the conversation were the forthcoming congress of world and traditional religions' leaders in Astana and the V Astana Economic Forum planned for spring 2012.
In addition, the Pakistani side was informed of the initiative "G-Global" proposed by the Kazakh President, which is aimed at overcoming the global economic crisis.
