Kazakh ambassador met with Chairman of Parliament of Moldova

Kazakh Ambassador to Moldova Almat Aidarbekov met with Chairman of the Parliament of the Republic of Moldova Igor Grosu, Kazinform News Agency cites the press service of the Kazakh Foreign Ministry.

During the conversation, the ambassador informed about the current political situation in Kazakhstan in the context of updating the composition of the government and the ongoing socio-economic reforms in the country as outlined by the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan during the extended meeting of the Government.

The Speaker of the Parliament was also familiarized with the main aspects of the interview of the Head of State given to Yegemen Kazakhstan newspaper on January 3 of this year.

In turn, Grosu has expressed interest in the reforms being carried out in Kazakhstan and expressed his support. He also outlined the ongoing processes of adaption the Moldovan legislation to the standards of the European Union within the framework of the negotiation process for accession.

The Chairman of the Parliament expressed the interest in relativization across the entire spectrum of bilateral relations, especially between the legislation branches.
