Kazakh Ambassador met with Brunei's Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade
ASTANA. August 20. KAZINFORM Kazakh Ambassador Beibut Atamkulov has met with His Royal Highness Prince Mohamed Bolkiah, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade of Brunei Darussalam in Bandar Seri Begawan; the Kazakh MFA's press service reports.
The issues of preparation of the state visit of President Nursultan Nazarbayev to Brunei Darussalam, which is scheduled this year, support of the Kazakh initiatives in the field of non-proliferation, interaction within the framework of the UN and OIC were discussed at the meeting.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade of Brunei Darussalam expressed satisfaction with activation of relations between Kazakhstan and Brunei, noting that priority fields of cooperation could be export of grain and flour from Kazakhstan to Brunei Darussalam, oil and gas sector.
