Kazakh Ambassador met Estonian PM, Mayor of Tallinn

ANA.  September 5. KAZINFORM Kazakh Ambassador to the Baltic States Galymzhan Koishybayev has had meetings with Prime Minister of Estonia Andrus Ansip and Mayor of Tallinn Edgar Savisaar, Kazinform refers to the press service of the Kazakh MFA.

At the meeting with A. Andsup the parties noted high level of the bilateral cooperation, positive development of the political, trade-economic and cultural-humanitarian relations. Issues of preparation for official visit of the Estonian PM to Astana in September were discussed too.

The Kazakh Diplomat informed the Estonian Prime Minister of the current political and socio-economic situation in Kazakhstan, the Kazakh Government's anti-crisis measures and explained key provisions of the President's Message to the Nation Through Crisis to Renovation and Prosperity. In the context of activation of the European vector of Kazakhstan's foreign policy G. Koishybayev briefed on realization of Path to Europe state program, preparation for the OSCE chairmanship in 2010.

At the meeting with Mayor of Tallinn, E. Savisaar shared his impressions of Astana and called our capital city a "pearl of the Central Asia". The Mayor of Tallinn highlighted necessity of activation of the trade-economic and cultural-humanitarian ties between our countries, capitals and regions.
