Kazakh Ambassador meets Chairman of Tajik National Bank in Dushanbe
ASTANA. October 14. KAZINFORM /Gulnara Zhandagulova/ Kazakhstan Ambassador to Tajikistan Abutalip Akhmetov met with Chairman of the National Bank of this country Sharif Rahimzoda in Dushanbe today.
The Ambassador informed the Tajik banker of Kazakhstan's intentions and objectives in the context of the OSCE chairmanship and the measures on overcoming the consequences of the financial crisis.
Sharif Rahimzoda welcomed Kazakhstan's oncoming chairmanship in this authoritative Organization and expressed hope this would give new impulse to regional cooperation development.
The parties also focused on the current state and prospects of the bilateral cooperation in banking sphere and possible directions of cooperation within the Kazakh-Tajik non-governmental commission.
In his turn S. Rahimzoda expressed hope that Kazkommertsbank Tajikistan CJSC (subsidiary of Kazkomertsbank) and Sohibkorbank JSC (ATF Bank owns its 75.1% of shares) would enhance their activity with the aim of diversification of bilateral economic relations.
