Kazakh Ambassador accredited as int'l observer at Iraq's parliamentary elections
ASTANA. March 8. KAZINFORM. Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Kazakhstan to the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan and concurrently to the Republic of Iraq Bulat Sarsenbayev was accredited as an international observer from Kazakhstan at Iraq's parliamentary elections in the Independent High Electoral Commission of Iraq (IHEC) in Baghdad; Kazakh MFA's press service told Kazinform.
B. Sarsenbayev held a meeting with Chairman of the Election Committee Faraj al-Haidari, where he announced Kazakhstan's official statement on the elections. Besides, he gave an interview to Press-Channel and IHEC press service.
Since yesterday, the Ambassador of Kazakhstan has begun to monitor the elections at polling stations in Anbar province in western Iraq.
