Kazakh Agriculture Ministry to spend KZT 3 trln on Agribusiness-2020 Program

ASTANA. October 10. KAZINFORM It is planned to spend about KZT 3 trillion on the implementation of Agribusiness-2020 Program, executive secretary of the Kazakh Ministry of Agriculture Yevgeny Aman said at the second meeting of the Business Council on the issues of agro-industrial complex development.
"Exploring opportunities to support farmers, we have chosen four areas: financial recovery, increasing the availability of goods and services to the farmers, development of national systems for ensuring the farmers, increasing the efficiency of public administration," said Aman.
According to him, government subsidies to the farmers in 2020 will increase 4.5 times. It is planned to spend USD 300 billion on their financial health.
