Kassym-Zhomart Tokayev meets with Estonian PM
ANA. September 8. KAZINFORM Chairman of the Senate of the Kazakh Parliament Kassym-Zhomart Tokayev has met with Estonian Prime Minister Andrus Ansip today in Astana, the press service of the Senate reported.
The parties complimented dynamic development of the Kazakh-Estonian relations, trade, economic, cultural and interparliamentary contacts, discussed the prospects for their further strengthening. Noting the mutual interest in modernization of the cooperation K.Tokayev stressed the importance of further development of interparliamentary contacts and invited the Estonian parliamentarians to visit the Kazakh Parliament.
The Kazakh Speaker informed the Head of the Estonian Government on the work of the Kazakh Parliament on legislative support of the process of further democratization of the state and society, told about the principles of formation of the Senate, the place and role of the House in the system of the state power of Kazakhstan.
The Prime Minister of Estonia highly appraised the reforms held in Kazakhstan under the leadership of the Kazakh President and achievements of the country in economic, political and social development. A.Ansip stressed the role of Kazakhstan in provision of the regional stability and security and wished our country successes at the pose of the OSCE chairman.
