Kashagan may not reach commercial production of 2.4 mln t - Y.Dossayev

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - Kazakhstan Government accepts that this year Kashagan may not reach commercial production in the amount of 2, 4 million tons, the Minister of Economy and Budget Planning Yerbolat Dossayev informed.
"As you know, there is a risk that Kashagan will not reach the commercial production in the amount of 2,4 million tons in 2014. That is why it is planned to carry out extra work and negotiations with major mining companies on possible increase of oil production and export from other deposits in the amount of not less than 1.5 million tons", said Y.Dossayev at a briefing in Central Communications Service.
