Karim Massimov met with French Premier François Fillon
ASTANA. June 28. KAZINFORM Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Karim Massimov met with French Prime Minister François Fillon within his official visit to France.
The sides discussed prospects for further economic cooperation. Karim Massimov and François Fillon discussed issues of further development of economic cooperation. Several documents were signed upon the results of the negotiations.
The Government of Kazakhstan and the Government of France signed an agreement on cooperation in the peaceful use of nuclear energy and the Declaration of Intent on Cooperation in the field of culture.
The Kazakh Ministry of Transport and Communications and the French Civil Aviation Authority signed a Protocol of Intent "On opening of a direct flight between Astana and Paris".
An agreement on cooperation in implementation of EC-145 program in Kazakhstan was signed between "Kazakhstan Engineering" National Company, "EADS-Eurocopter" and "Eurocopter - Kazakhstan Engineering" LLC. "Eurocopter - Kazakhstan Engineering" LLC and "EADS-Eurocopter" companies also signed an agreement on distribution, maintenance and establishment of a training center.
Besides, "Kazatomprom" National Company and "Areva" company signed a memorandum of cooperation in the field of alternative and renewable energy sources.
