Karatantcheva beats Putintseva, advances to quarterfinal of ITF tournament

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - Sesil Karatantcheva has outplayed another representative of Kazakhstan Yulia Putintseva in the second round of women's singles of the ITF tournament in Charlottesville, VA, U.S., Kazinform refers to Vesti.kz.
The 24-year-old Karatantcheva defeated less experienced Putintseva, 19, in two straight sets 6:4, 6:4. Karatantcheva may face either Anastasia Rodionova playing for Australia or American Taylor Townsend in the quarterfinal. The prize fund of the tournament totals $50,000.
