Karaganda climbers haul 21 medals at Sports Climbing Championship

KARAGANDA. KAZINFORM - Young climbers from the Karaganda region have collected 21 medals at the Kazakhstan's Sport Climbing Championship.
Athletes from 6 regions of the country gathered in Almaty city for the Sport Climbing Championship that was held from 10 till 14 July 2014. 21 climbers of Karaganda-based Zhalyn sports academy clinched 7 gold, 3 silver and 11 bronze medals. The Karaganda team trained by Saule Iskakova and Galina Smirnova was ranked the second in overall standings.
