K. Tokayev relieved of post of Senate Speaker

ASTANA. April 15. KAZINFORM /Muratbek Makulbekov/ Today at a plenary session of the Upper House of the Kazakh Parliament Kassym-Zhomart Tokayev has been relieved of the post of the Senate Speaker.
President Nursultan Nazarbayev who is participating in the session noted Tokayev's great contribution to the country's development as a diplomat, minister of foreign affairs and Chairman of the Senate. K. Tokayev was also relieved of deputy powers.
