K.Tokayev: Asian countries became active players of global market

KAZINFORM /Serik Sabekov/ "Today it is evident that Asian countries are becoming active players of the global market", Chairman of the Senate of the Kazakh Parliament Kassym-Zhomart Tokayev has said today at the opening of the V General Assembly of the International Conference of Asian Political Parties.
According to him, today the countries of the continent take leading positions in the field of innovations, nuclear energy, space exploration, transport and communications. The world trade step by step shifts to Asia.
At the same time Asian continent attracts attention due to other reasons as well. The character of Asian problems changed in the past decade: they gained global dimensions", K.Tokayev noted.
Besides, he said that the wellbeing of the world civilization depends on the wellbeing of Asia.
