K. Massimov: Important to keep balance between tariffs raising and major resources renewal

ASTANA. January 21. KAZINFORM /Serik Sabekov/ Today at the enlarged sitting of the board of the Agency for Natural Monopolies Regulation Prime Minister Karim Massimov charged the Agency Chief to keep balance between tariffs raising and the opportunity of major resources renewal.
"The activity of your Agency and the departments you regulate are in spotlight of all citizens. Every month we pay for gas, water and electricity. And we do not like it if the invoices are too high", the PM said.
However, according to him, tough fixation of the tariffs will lead to stagnation of the sector, and the equipment becomes useless. "Therefore it is important to find balance between tariffs raising and renewal of major resources", the PM stressed.
