Jobless rate in Customs Union at 1% in July

MOSCOW. KAZINFORM - The unemployment rate in the Customs Union stood at 1% in July 2014, BelTA learnt from the press service of the Eurasian Economic Commission.
The number of the unemployed registered with the employment bodies of the Customs Union member states totaled 935,100 people in late July 2014, down 8.8% from July 2013. The number of registered unemployed in Belarus reduced by 3.6%, in Russia by 9.5%, and increased in Kazakhstan by 1.6%, BelTA reports.
According to the Eurasian Economic Commission, Belarus had 21,500 registered unemployed in May (0.5% of the workforce). In Kazakhstan the figure was 59,200 (0.6%), in Russia 854,400 (1.1%).
