Japanese PM thanked Kazakhstan for humanitarian assistance
ASTANA. April 11. KAZINFORM Head of State Nursultan Nazarbayev has received a letter of congratulation on his landslide victory in the presidential elections from Prime Minister of Japan Kan Naoto, Kazinform has learnt from the President's press service.

Please, receive my cordial congratulations upon your reelection to the post of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
I hope that your country will achieve more success under your leadership and will make more contribution to ensuring stability and prosperity of the Central Asian region.
Let me thank you for your kind expression of sympathy upon the devastating earthquake in the east of Japan and the proposition from the Government of Kazakhstan on sending the humanitarian aid.
Kazakhstan and Japan have been enjoying warm and friendly relations. I intend to cooperate with you for strengthening and expanding the relations between our states", the telegram reads.
