Japanese man arrested over 3D gun seizure

TOKYO. KAZINFORM - A man has been arrested in Japan on suspicion of illegally possessing two guns - allegedly made using 3D printing technology.

The 27-year-old, a Kawasaki college worker, was detained after police found an online video - in which he is said to have boasted about making the weapons.

Five guns were reportedly discovered at the man's home, two of which could fire real bullets, according to Euronews.

The 3D printer was purchased online and the blueprints for the weapons were found on a website, according to reports.
