Japan's women's ice hockey team hopes for gold at Asiad-2011
ALMATY. January 28. KAZINFORM /Yekaterina Ionova/ "Our goal is to win gold at the 7th Asian Winter Games", head coach of Japan's women's ice hockey team Yuji Iizuka has said at a special press conference in Almaty today.
According to him, it will be uneasy to achieve this goal, because the Kazakh team is very strong and experienced. "We have not won the Asian Games yet because of the Kazakh team. The key tournaments are scheduled for January 31 and February 1 during which it will be clear whether we will be able to take the gold or not", Yuji Iizuka said.
The head coach of the Japanese team praised the level of the Games' organization, accommodation and food. "I would like to express gratitude to the Organizers of the Games and all volunteers who help us", he said.
